My whole life has been surrounded by people smoking everyday and everywhere. Everyone in my family has smoked at least once in their life. My Mom and my Dad have been smoking before they met each other. My Grandpa smoked and he died because his lungs were so weak they couldn't even hold oxygen on there own. My Nana along with her daughter Marissa they managed to quit. I want people to realize the impact it has not only on the smoker but the others in the atmosphere.
Process
ENGLISH: I chose to do a speech about making decisions that harm others. I looked at Martin Luther King Jr. speech and I highlighted the important words and sayings. I used them shape my speech. HISTORY: I'm putting facts from the war in Iraq of 2003 as warning labels from cigarette packs. I put the warning labels on my collage. ART: I did a collage with a picture of a storm cloud with lightening and real cigarette packets. to show how cigarettes aren't good for the smoker and they can be 10X deadly for 2nd hand smokers
This is my art piece and it includes cigarette packets and it has a black storm cloud. It shows that cigarettes are bad and they will turn your lungs black with every puff of smoke you inhale.
