For my art portion I did a portrait of Bill Nye. The goal of the painting is to capture the feeling of child-like wonder that I felt when I'd watch an episode of Bill Nye The Science Guy as a kid.
For my English portion I wrote two stanzas of two different poems of different perspectives. The first poem was intended to be written by a 3rd grader who is overcome with the excitement of getting ready to watch Bill Nye, the focus of the poem is this feeling. The second poem is written by 10th grade me, and the focus of that poem is the absence of the main feeling of excitement in the first poem.
For my social studies portion I made an alternate universe timeline, showing the order of events that lead up to where Bill Nye is today. The timeline looks into what might have happened if Bill Nye became an astronaut!
